The RETURNING VETERANS RESOURCE NETWORK has been developed to assist our new veterans in negotiating the sometimes confusing and often discouraging transition from warrior to civilian. Comprised of veterans who have faced, and overcome, obstacles to transition.
Members of the RETURNING VETERANS RESOURCE NETWORK seek to provide mentoring, information, and referral to appropriate and necessary services.
What we do offer is support and experience. Many of us are veterans of the Vietnam Era, and Gulf War, most with combat tours. We and our families, provide a wealth of experience available in no other forum of which we are aware. We are motivated by our collective desire to prevent, or at least lessen, the struggles we faced.
The RETURNING VETERANS RESOURCE NETWORK seeks to supplement, not supplant, the efforts of those already dedicated to serve our nation’s veterans.
The RETURNING VETERANS RESOURCE NETWORK is not a Veterans Service Organization; nor do we provide VA claims assistance already provided by County Veterans Service Officers. We do not provide mental health counseling or psychotherapy.
